Another List Of Links
I'm not going to add another list of links to the numerous lists
that already exist. So the list here will only be of sites with
which I've had direct, personal experience, places I can
wholeheartedly recommend. Maybe later they'll be other things on this page.
Fine Hand Tools
-
Museum of Woodworking Tools
If you ever get the chance to visit Joel at his store in Brooklyn, don't
miss it. This is a unique, and uniquely New York, experience. There's
definitely no other place like it in the city, that's for sure. I doubt there's
many places like it anywhere. But even if you can't go there, visit on the web.
You can't go wrong.
-
Japan-Tool
Look around. If you're interested, email the proprietor, So Yamashita, a
question. Read his reply. This is where you find out about Japanese tools, and
sharpening with japanese natural (and unnnatural) stones. Pass by, or stay the
rest of your life...
-
Lee Valley
Extensive website (and catalog) of fine woodworking tools, supplies, hardware.
The real deal. Great customer service.
